Too often do I hear a phrase that I'd like to discredit. "hey' I'm only human". I think we forget too easily what that means. It means we always have the power of choice. In some form or fashion we always have the ability to choose that no one can take from you. There are two forces witch dictate our lives, the external and the internal and far too often do we emphasize the external. the "if only"s and the "I have to"s seem to over-run our lives and we forget that the internal is what drives our emotions, our fears, our actions. we make a conscious choice to respond to this world in a manner we see fit but refuse to acknowledge it for it is not the social norm to take responsibility for such choices. it's much easier to act on instinct and let this world drag you down, and I admit to times were I too play the victim to such meaningless outside influences but it's a form of conditioning so burnt into our skulls we often neglect the power to choose how that "influence" truly effects us. We are stronger then this world. to be human is to have choice, and choice is power. you are not a product of your conditioning, you are not a product to your conditions, you have choice. now it's time to choose to hear me out and be human, or to sit back and let yourself become "only human"
