second, i just got back from the right coast on monday night...so i have a few sets of pics to put up...aren`t you excited??? :D i know you are.
this is a picture of the GREATEST place for ice cream EVER. i love love love ice cream, it`s one of my favourite foods (i wonder if this has anything to do w/the egregious amounts of it my mom consumed while she was preggers w/me). this is the Woodside Creamery in Hockessin, DE. it`s this ridiculously gorgeous little farm where the fireflies dance around at night, and you go stand in line outside of the edifice above for FANTASTIC home-made goodness. then you eat it on weathered old wooden picnic tables and benches, while you watch toddlers and small children chase each other (b/c they`re all hopped up on the sugar) gleefully. doesn`t that sound like bliss? it`s like a rockwell painting that you can live in. wow.
anyway, hope you had as much fun wherever you were last week as i did...enjoy.

When I see this picture I feel the cool breeze, gaze at the gently rolling tall grass, the glowing fireflies, the gleeful children, the old fashion wooden benches. This farm was born in 1796 and the one next to it in 1712...It is like a slice of living, breathing History lost in a sea of stripmall commercialism. And 4 scoops of amazing ice cream for $5.25??? Incredible!
