These are pinhole images (Zero-image camera, f/138, takes 120 film) and the exposures are usually 10 seconds-20 minutes. I`ve been taking these photographs at restaurants (or special meals at home) for several years - I find making other types of photographs satisfying but sometimes isolating (looking through the viewfinder, I am in my own world). This is different - very social. Most people vaguely recall pinhole cameras from a distant science class and if they notice my camera they are really interested in what I`m doing. Pinhole work is just one type of photography that I do. Other work can be seen at my web site www.nancybreslin.com
