Actually, we didn't get the power back here in North Bethesda, which is the fancy name for what is in reality South Rockville.
I did catch the game, though; I managed to dig out and drive up to Columbia, in Howard County, where my friends had power, heat, and chili. I brought chips and beer and most of the rest of the surviving contents of my fridge, and the rest is history. ;-)
How did you you do, and are you ready for installment number 2, which is likely to hit you folks right in the kisser?
