Excellent catch!

Paul, it's so nice to see you trying to understand Polish. Well, I was to Sweden a couple of years ago, but this photo wasn't taken there. Polish word "szwedanie" has not much in common with Szwecja (Sweden) - one can "szwedac sie" in Sweden and that's it. Szwedanie is a sort of a saunter :) Hope you have a good time with your family!

PW – For some mysterious reason I only noticed the music links on your yesterday’s page today—did you add them later? You seem to be quite the date wangler of late ; )
Re link #1, that’s a nice mellow mood produced by those finger-picking hands. Appropriately nostalgic, too, as today’s Amsterdam authorities are rapidly wiping out what little trace is left of the city’s illicit charms that so attracted Mr. Pyle in the 1970s. Even the nefarious Zeedijk (in the midst of de Wallen, a.k.a. the red light district) has been turned into a respectable tourist trap. Django Reinhardt would prefer Odessa any time.
You’ll be having a good one with the Zen Cowboy’s gig next week . . . when are you going back? Myself I’m off to the rescue once more. Even if Mutti didn’t step into those several ditches, her sweet daughter sure did : (

Hi there, Paul!
What an adventure! I've always wanted to go on a trip based either on one of my favourite novels or a writer's life as a theme. After all, travelling is education (in practice!), isn't it?
Speaking of travelling and education, we spent the last long w/e in Rome with my mom and sister. I was telling a friend that, for me, trips always start a week before the actual journey and continue for a couple of days after I return. I need to 'digest' everything I've seen and photographed and I keep on reading and looking at the pictures I've taken when I'm already home. Imagine that Rome gave me some extra homework, hehe.
For me, there are few things as exciting as the idea of travelling somewhere different. What about you?
Un abrazo and glad to have you back.
