This Fotolog was opened 5 years ago, in 2004.
At that time, a new time started for me. It was the very beginning of my professional career. I moved to the centre for the first time. Those were days of working stress, happy life with a girlfriend, old friends reunion, uncertainty... Japan was still fresh in my memories and this flog became an open window to my feelings, fears, joys...
My life has become a mixture of work, music and independence. And passion is the only real force that impels my acts. Sometimes, dragging too many pending issues make it difficult to go ahead. In that case, it's better to get rid of some burdens.
This Fotolog is not a burden, but an uncomplete part of me. It can't update it so often as it deserves. In the last months, I don't feel anymore the need of being connected to the virtual world. That is why I left MSN Messenger and barely use GTalk or Skype. I focused on Facebook, but then it became truly useful to meet with friends you cannot meet everyday and for a different kind of networking.
Now it's time to move forward, to concentrate all my efforts on what really worths it. No more Fotolog updates, at least for some time. I'll visit my friends Flogs, but mine will remain still.
For music photography, I opened http://www.simbenia.com/miratges and, for the first time, I'm proud of something I've done.
For personal thoughts... maybe I should start an intimate personal diary and finish this public exhibition.
