Why build model airplanes when you can restore old ones? Here we see some volunteers restoring a Scout Bomber Douglas from World War II. It's one of the planes recovered from the waters of Lake Michigan.

Another SDB was recovered from Lake Michigan yesterday. It's tail number in World War II was Navy Bureay Number 2173.
