BANDANOS - "We Crush Your Mind With Thrash Inside" CD
The thrash revival in all its forms is in full force and I'm not sick of it yet. As you can tell from the title, this is yet another band thrashing away. These guys are from São Paulo, Brazil and shred like CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER or early ACCÜSED. Ripping crossover that I listened to over and over. Tight and speedy, and a CD that has become one of my favorite releases of the year. They have been around since 2002 and have a couple of splits, but I was very excited to see them live. The guitarist played with ROT for a while and I think that's one of the strong points. Having been in a grindcore band before means he can play fast, write riffs that are interesting, and keep up with the rest of the band. The singer has that higher, sick, wet voice like the guy from THE ACCÜSED. Give this a listen. (MH)
