Well since my last update which was a while ago :P
Ana has had some pretty good results.
Semifinal at Wimbledon losing to the eventual winner Venus Williams 6/2 6/4
Winner in La against Petrova 6/4 7/5 but in the semifinal she recovered from 2 match points against JJ
After she went to defend her title in Toronto but Ana wasnt in her best since she had a hard tournament just a week before she eventualy was defeated by Zi Yan.
This week Ana is playing the Us Open she is the 5th seed and she is the hardest half of the draw. This part of the draw has players like Justine Henin, both Williams Sisters, Ana Ivanovic and also JJ ( these were 5 of the 6 pics of John MacEnroe for the Us Open winner this year).
1st round:
Ivanovic vs Nakamura 6/1 6/1
2nd round:
Ivanovic vs Rezai 6/3 6/1
3rd round:
Ivanovic will play Duchevina. Last year both these players played agaisnt each other in the 1st round. Ana won the tie in 3 hard fought sets and Ana has advantaje in the head to head leading 3/2 winning the last 3.
